Dr. J. Hannis Mize - Veterinarian/Owner
Dr. J. Hannis Mize owns Peachtree Corners Animal Clinic, which he purchased in 1991. Dr. Mize is also the owner of Little River Animal Hospital, which was built in 2002. Before arriving at PCAC, he practiced medicine at Johnston Ferry Animal Hospital and Cobb Emergency.
Originally from Alabama, Dr. Mize attended Samford University, where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. He went on to attend the University of Auburn College of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. His professional interests include ultrasound, soft-tissue surgery, orthopedics and endodontics. Dr. Mize is also a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Animal Hospital Association.
An avid exerciser, Dr. Mize also enjoys playing golf, coaching his son’s baseball team and restoring classic Corvettes. His family includes son Lanier and daughter Courtney, as well as Nicholas, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and three cats, Jeffer, Kit Kat and Sam.

Dr. Dawn Jackson - Veterinarian
General practitioner Dr. Dawn Marie Jackson began practicing medicine at Peachtree Corners in 2004. A native of Michigan, Dr. Jackson attended the University of Georgia, where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology in 1999. She went on to attend the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. Dr. Jackson’s professional interests include dermatology and oncology.
Dr. Jackson can usually be found outside in her spare time hiking, kayaking, camping and boating along with her husband, Jason and her two children Sydney and Easton. Her four-legged family includes Julie, a Great Dane, Diego and Annabelle, a pair of Chihuahuas, and cats Howie, BJ, Lenny, Carl and Gray Grape.

Dr. Michelle Kraft - Veterinarian
General practitioner Dr. Michelle Kraft has cared for pets at Little River Animal Hospital since 2008. She loves animals and has worked with pets ever since 1997, when she worked as a kennel attendant in Delaware.
Dr. Kraft completed her undergraduate education at the University of Delaware and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science in 2002. She went on to attend the University of Georgia and received her Master's Degree in Animal Nutrition in 2004. Dr. Kraft continued her veterinary education at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2008.
Dr. Kraft is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. She shares her home with her husband Ben and their pets which comprise of a dog, Dixie, and four cats, Bella, Tiny, Milo, and Dewey, all of whom greet her when she comes home each night. In her spare time, she enjoys running, playing softball, and camping.

Dr. Christine Horne - Veterinarian
General Practitioner Dr. Christine Horne has practiced at Little River Animal Hospital since 2010. She has worked with animals since 1993 when she began as a kennel attendant after graduating high school in Marietta.
Dr. Horne completed her undergraduate education at the University of Georgia and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry in 1997. She went on to attend the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia and was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. Her primary areas of interest are internal medicine and feline medicine.
Dr. Horne is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. She shares her home with her husband, Chris, and her two young children, along with several cats and two Bernese Mountain Dogs, Monroe and McKinley. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, traveling to new places, and snorkeling.

Dr. Kathryn Brothers, DMV
A Montgomery, AL native, Dr. Kathryn L. Brothers began practicing medicine at Peachtree Corners Animal Clinic in 2004. Dr. Brothers attended Auburn University, where she was awarded a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. She went on to earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. Her areas of professional interest are internal medicine, oncology, ultrasound and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Brothers has a continuing education certification in ultrasonography.
In her spare time, Dr. Brothers can be found hiking, traveling, cooking, or outside in her garden. Dr. Brothers shares her home with her husband, Omar, daughter Sophie, miniature Schnauzer, Hemmingway and Summer, an orange tabby cat.

Karla Anderson-O'Brien - Hospital Administrator
Karla has been a member of the Peachtree Corners Animal Clinic staff since 2000. A North Carolina native, Karla attended East Carolina University, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. She has also earned a management certificate from the American Animal Hospital Association.
Karla loves working with the friendly, compassionate staff at Peachtree Corners Animal Clinic and Little River Animal Hospital. In her spare time she enjoys playing with her two children, Luke and Ella, biking, traveling, and cooking. She shares her home with a Brussels Griffon, Chewie, and domestic short hair cat, Kitty.

Corinne Roy Haler - Groomer
Corinne has been grooming animals for over 9 years. She believes strongly in being an advocate for animals and strives to provide a safe and loving grooming environment. Corinne enjoys grooming all breeds of cats and dogs. When Corinne is not grooming is enjoys cooking, riding horses, and spending time with her family. |
